Modern Living Asakusa II is a guesthouse just a 3 minute walk down the street from our Modern Living Asakusa I. The set up is very similar and every room is perfectly renovated! 10 to 12 minutes walking distance to 5 major train lines; Iriya Station, Hibiya line, Tsukuba Express, Asakusa Station, Ginza, Toei Asakusa, Tobu Isezaki lines, Asakusa Station. Central Tokyo location, easy access to Shibuya, Ropppongi, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Mita / Diamon / Shibakoen areas, bicycle distance from Ueno, Akihabara, Asakusabashi, Kuramae. Room rents range from 43,000 to 62,000 yen / depending on size. Houses are located in a quiet residential area with access to 5 major train lines. Here are the details:

The area has many parks and a public sports training center with gym, tennis courts, pools, running track, and athletic fields, (soccer, baseball, basketball, etc., ¥250 per hours!). The house is 4 stories tall with 14 private rooms.

Asakusa is one of the most famous historical areas of Tokyo. Asakusa is famous for its festivals (Matsuri), including Sanja Festival, Asakusa Samba Carnival, Sumida River Fireworks, Tori no Ichi (Rooster Market) etc., which take place throughout the year. The area is also well know for Sensoji, one of the largest most famous Tokyo Temple complexes with many shops and stalls along winding narrow streets. Asakusa, Taito-ku is one of the most convenient and least expensive areas for living in Tokyo. Rental bicycles are available for 500 yen a week.
